Beautiful Widebeam Canal Boat 50' x 12'
This boat was built in 2021. It was designed by Laura Migales, Founder of Colour of Living and fitted out by its designer/owner in collaboration with Boat Fit Co. to bespoke specifications and built for continuous cruising on the UK canal network. TAYRONA is a unique vessel perfectly adapted for residential living.
Featuring a reverse layout entering via the stern and stepping down into a light-filled, spacious open-plan studio living space. The living area includes a Candy oven gas, a Hisense 4-unit gas hob in stainless steel, ample eco bamboo worktop space for food preparation and cooking and a Beko washing machine. Full extension kitchen drawers to maximise all possible storage space including high storage, perfect for everything you need including a Liebherr energy efficiency Fridge.
The living area includes a modern sofa/daybed that can be pulled out to become a king-size bed for overnight guests if needed. There are space-saving details such as hinged entrance stairs that provide additional storage space when necessary. Additionally, a space-saving folding dining table with a sleek Scandinavian design and multiple drawers for cutlery and napkins. It extends up to 1.52 meters, making it perfect for hosting unforgettable family and friends dinners.

In winter, the boat is comfortably heated via a Morso Squirrel Multi-fuel stove and additional 4 radiators controlled by Webasto. The bathroom contains a full-sized shower with a glass door, a large wash basin and a modern Simploo compost toilet. The boat is provided with an 6 stage system filter by Water Freedom and a Reverse osmosis 5 stage system under the sink allowing it to have unlimited water and be eco-efficient and sustainable.
Walking through a generous corridor into the cabin, the sleeping room features a full-sized bespoke bed with 60x60x120 storage underneath and two integrated side tables with plenty of storage, and ample hanging rails for clothes and storage.
On the roof are 4x 400W solar panels which keep the 4x Lead Carbon AGM 245Ah batteries topped up and supplying all the boat's electrical needs in the spring and summer months (March-October). There is an additional decking area to enjoy the outdoor summer days.

Sadly selling due to relocation, the boat comes fully equipped with furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, and kitchen utensils, ready for living on board. TAYRONA has been home to the designer and her photography director husband for the last couple of years. They have stayed comfortably, living and working on the boat, cruising in and around the London canal network.
